Ring Around the World!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting a very special little girl named Haylee. Haylee is a young philanthropist and entrepreneur already.  With the help of her mom, she produces special beaded rings that she sells to her friends and anyone else interested for 2 dollars each.  The money that she collects goes to charity.

Haylee decided that she wanted to raise money to help all of the hungry people that Shepherds of Good Hope serves everyday!

I took Haylee and her mom on a tour of the soup kitchen and food pantry and Ash, the manager of Support Services was also there.

I discussed with Haylee that we serve over 700,000 meals a year and that we serve anyone hungry that comes through our doors.
