The excitement is mounting! In celebration of 30 years of service for the most vulnerable men and women in our community, Shepherds of Good Hope will host an extraordinary culinary event with a live and silent auction. This first-of-its-kind event will take place on Thursday, February 7, 6-9 pm as part of Winterlude festivities. You can celebrate with us in Jean Pigott Hall at Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West. The tickets are just $150 with $100 tax receipt. All proceeds from this event will go towards the $100,000 kitchen revitalization project. Last year 700,000 meals were served from the soup kitchen.

Kelly Toiletry Drive

Every year, Kelly Funeral Homes throughout Ottawa organize a huge toiletry drive on behalf of Shepherds of Good Hope.

So one day a year after the collection has been made, our driver goes around to each funeral home and collects the toiletries.  As always, they cease to amaze us with their collection for the homeless.

Toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, and shampoo are being used by the 350 individuals who sleep in our programs every night. Toiletries are so necessary in the lives of the homeless.

Thank you to Kelly Funeral Homes and the generous donors.
